Having looked at section 5.1 on “Technicalities” am I correct in saying the correct wiring diagram for a 58 Brum is the one marked “Based on Miller Drg 2344” ?

If so can someone enlighten me as to what terminal 9 on the switch does as it does’t seem to be connected to anything, also how is the ignition coil powered as it only seems to be connected through terminal 1 to the generator when the switch is on “EM IGN”? Is the ignition coil also connected to terminal 9 ?

Re-wiring the new battery in at the moment (and checking the other wiring while I do), I’ve decided to go for the two 6V batteries in the mock Lucas cover so I can also hook it up to a 12V battery optimiser. Once done, I’ll check through everything else and give it another go, I’ll post up results one way or another on the other thread 🙄
