Following a LOT of fruitless discussion with Bonhams concerning WX 179, and its sister machine WX 182 seeming to have exchanged registration numbers at some time in the very distant past, probably when they were sold off in 1929/1930,and NONE of the surviving machines being stamped with the frame and engine numbers that were declared by the works in the original 1929 applications for registration, I have withdrawn the bike from the auction. There is NOTHING sinister in this !!
It is now for sale privately, with my contact details all as listed in Yowl under Section Information.
