I need a Scott/Enfield 8″ rear brake plate and shoes to complete a rebuild of 1930s pre war Scott. I will buy or have Scott bits to exchange – tell me what you need – I may have it.

Have you tried Baz Jackson ? I’ve had Enfield rear brake parts from him fairly recently.

Well Dave, I do have a spare brake plate in good condition, c/w shoes, and I’m looking for an outrigger bracket of the later type, with speedo drive.

Hi Brian
I’ve had a search and yes I do have an outrigger of the later type with the speedo drive. The outrigger is in good order with no cracks or repairs. The drive gears and housing are also in good condition.

Hi Brian
Outrigger and speedo drive posted this morning. Should reach you by 1pm tomorrow, Special Delivery. Postage not too bad at £8.45 although I had calculated after weighing that it would be £10.00. I also left out the note that I meant to include, but no matter as it wasn’t anything important!
