I’ve got a couple of brake plates on ebay finishing this weekend. One Birmingham front and one presumed Scott/ Enfield rear. Not quite sure about the model for the rear as there is only a single hole in the torque arm. I’m guessing that flyer’s actually have slots in the torque arm to correspond with the lug on the frame.. or is the frame lug slotted?
Questions, questions.

Hi Richard,
Probably not from a Scott as every one I’ve ever seen has had a slotted torque arm. It could be Norton (CS1,etc.), Brough Superior, Royal Enfield, Coventry Eagle, or various other firms that used the 8″ Enfield rear hub/brake on their larger models.
