I see the bringers of health safety and the promotion of all sport unless it involves an engine are trying to remove the oldest speed event in th e UK

It would be a great shame if the elfansafety brigade kill off the events at Brighton. I never sprinted there myself but I have lots of original photos of Derrick Shire on various Scotts, and a few of Jim Best too. Probably taken in the 1960’s, but they are not dated.
