I was talking to my friend about the spark plugs last week and he told me he is using “Brisk” spark plug in his vintage bikes. This is old Czech brand and I’m using their 14 mm spark plugs in my Jawa two stroker, but never saw 18 mm plug. My friend told me they have them, they are produced for “Trabant” (German two stroke cars), they just have conical contact surface, so he just lathe this and use thicker washer. They should be resistant to the oil, he told me he always just clean it and it’s working again – never happens with Bosch or NGK to him (he is using it in JAP engine). Someone has experience of this spark plug in Scott? I’m thinking to try it when my engine will be ready, but would be good to know…
