I have a 1956 Brum – chassis # s1010 which I am considering parting with. Restoration is 90 % done and would be an easy completion for someone in the know. Comes complete with 2 engines . One is a is a unusual bird with out #’s and consists of long stroke case and short stroke barrel (rebuilt by Tim Sharpe). The other is the matching #’s case which was reunited with the bike after 40 odd years.
This Brum is apparently the 10th prototype of the swing arm chassis machines and is documented as coming from the works about 3 months prior to a second machine carrying the same chassis #.
