Brum Radiator Dimensions

Graham Moag is making me a new radiator as I was unhappy with the repair to the original one, so he’s asked me for dimensions of the old one. Unfortunately I’ve just realised that the repairers have cocked up and the mounting holes aren’t in the right place. Could someone measure their radiator so I can compare with what I’ve got to ensure it’s correct. See diagram attached.

Graham should have the dimensions for my original Brum radiator as he is making a replacement for mine but I requested a few minor differences for the new one. not quite as tall to get a little more clearance between the top of the engine and the bottom of the radiator and of the outlet to be more in line with the outlet on the water dome. These are the measurements from my old radiator

I suggest that first you measure the distances between the mounting points on your frame as there are usually some slight variations in positions of lugs and brackets on Brum frames. The position of the lower mounting hole on my Brum rad is on the centre line of the rad and 3/4” from the bottom of the rad. The position of the two upper mounting holes will be dependent on the position of the mounting lugs on your frame.
