I have just bought a Birmingham Scott Flying Squirrel from Mrs Janet Best (ex Jim Best). A beautiful bike in immaculate condition. Next step will be to register it on Norwegian number plates.
Norwegian registration authorities are helpful, with a sympathetic attitude towards historic vehicles, but they will ask about some technical data – mandatory information to be put into their databse.
Instead of fabricating data, it would be very helpful if a club member could supply these.
The following information is needed:
Power output in kW or Hp
Curb weight (fully equipped)
Gross vehicle weight rating
Total width
Total length
(Width & length can of course be measured, but official data are always appreciated by the registration authorities).
