Anyone recommend where I might get my 206/151R carburettor & float chamber refurbished?
And/or I seem to recollect a member advertising for offers for a brand new old stock Carb.
Can’t remenber where it was advertised but I would very much like to hear if it’s still available.

Hello Mike, you asked if it was me who advertised a carb for sale in the past. No it was not me. Most unfortunately obtaining a new carb or even getting one reconditioned, will be difficult.

Martyn Bratby is very good if the body needs a rebore and an oversize slide making, but he currently seems reluctant to take on more work. Can I suggest that whoever does it fits a 6/3.5 slide, as mid-range performance seems to be better than the original 6/3 slide. This probably due to modern muck petrol being very different to the old stuff.
