Chrome rims?

Which models had chrome rims? (if any). Our ’38 Squirrel has black painted rims. I’m unsure if this is correct?

A 1936 flyer that I owned in the late 1950s had black rims and black spokes with nickel plated nipples . Am pretty sure that it had not been got at by the promenade Percy brigade . Regards D F.

Black rims, spokes and nipples thru’ to 1946, then chrome rims with a black centre section. However….. If you look in the works dispatch books you will see that from about the mid-1930s onwards there are occasional entries with ‘chrome rims’ listed in the extras column.
