As my engine is out of the frame, I will re-“paint” the cylinders of my Brum. Previously it had a translucent red lacquer/vanish. Can anyone advise:
1) What should a Brum have – ‘normal’ red paint or a lacquer
2) What should be used – my inclination is to use Hammerite anti-rust undercoat and red topcost.
