does any one know where I can get a pancake type dynamo from? or a modern alternative. must be able to drive it from the crankcase door.

Hi Erik
I an intending to rework the Silk Scott I bought some time ago and one of my objectives is to eliminate door mounted equipment. The plaqn is to put pot magnets in the RH flywheel rim and have coils nearby, as there is no mag chain.
Because of this I have no need for the door mounted alternator.
