Eastern Section March meeting

Hi all,   A quick reminder that it is our Eastern Section March meeting on Sunday March 8th at our usual venue the Buttercross in the Market Place, Bingham, Notts.. We meet in the Snug, near the bottom of the staircase at 10 am until 12 noon, but doors open at 8 am, so why not come early and have an excellent, good value breakfast ? Buy your first drink and then refills are FREE all day !  All welcome as usual, whether or not you are a current SOC member.

Hi Brian,

Please accept our apologies but (yet again) we will be unable to make your meeting.  After some procrastination (helped by a not unpleasant weather forecast), we have decided to head up to Edinburgh on Thursday for a holiday.  It is Scott related and in a good cause as we will attend the Ingleston show while up there to meet up with some of our Scottish members.

Dave Frank wrote to us and promised to bring some unusual oil pumps for inspection at the next meeting.  Our plan at present is to pop in and see Dave on the way up or down.  If that doesn’t work out and he manages to make the meeting, would you be OK to take a few pics?
