Sorry to not make it to the meeting but other matters intervened. Won’t be able to do the next one either. Bit of shock seeing my old banger in the Yowl this month. Excellent write up by the way, Nick. Mike, I will be putting together an email to you quite soon about lubrication matters (yes, it really does !). With regard to 9712UB starting so well for the audience at Bingham. It has to start quickly because after 4 kicks I’m ‘cream crackered’ ! Its always has been a pretty good starter. Much better than Delilah, the Ariel Arrow after a long lay up. However, its never (since I have been its custodian) had the original ignition system or carb.
