Garage clear-out…

I have a few Scott bits which are now surplus to requirements and will be sold soon.

The biggest bit is a complete (except crankcase doors) engine. It is supposedly a late Shipley engine that never found its way onto a bike. I’ve never had it to bits but it the internals look very clean and shiny as far as I can see through the ports and through the spark plug holes. There is no blueing evident in either big end.

The engine number is DPY5531

If anyone is interested the send me a PM and give me some idea of how much you think it is worth to you. If I just get silly offers I’ll probably try it on eBay.

Engine sold. I’ll post another note when I get round to dragging the other bits out. From memory, I think I have a nice period horn, a pair transfer ports, some used Flyer cranks and pistons and an out rigger cover (ally casting) that I’ll be selling. There are probably a few other odds & sods too.
