I have been trying Klingersil c-4324 gasket material on the transfer ports for 14 months I had a look at them today for the first time since fitting no probs no squashing into the ports I put the same gaskets back on. this material is used on steam models and came from the local model engineering company. I cut this with a sharp wood chisel . Recon it would be ok for crankcase door gaskets Regards D F.
