does anyone have a gate to copy or a picture of a single downtube frame gear gate which mounts on the tank. ??

It should be just like the top, gate part, of a usual set-up, with just two downward projecting ‘ears’ for the bolt holes. Sorry but I haven’t got a photo.

I think i might have a spare one which could fit your tank, it will need replating or painting but might be of use ?
