I need a gearbox sprocket retaining ring Richard Duffin tells me its a part castelated ring about 1-1/8 dia to fit final drive thread and hold sprocket
Are there any ‘foreign’ bikes of the same size or any leads for one?

I haven’t got one to spare I’m afraid. Have you tried “the usual suspects” such as the Spares Scheme, Ken Lack, Richard Blackburn, Tim Sharp, Mike Field, Barry Jackson, etc.? Failing that try an advert in Yowl.
