Half compresion valves

Can any one tell me how I can stop the half compression valves leaking without blanking them off. they keep making a mess down the front of the barrel

Hi Eric, If you can unscrew them and get them out, they can be dismantled for decarbonising and grinding in with some fine valve grinding paste. If dribbles still persist you can try fitting stronger springs. The ‘button’ on the end of the valve that the actuating arm presses on unscrews to dismantle the valve.

Thanks Brian I took them out today they came out quite easily but could not see how to take them apart.
