Half Scale Model Scott

A good friend of mine is building a half size model Scott !! He has completed the engine, gearbox, clutch, frame, forks, tank, etc., and is now thinking about the wheels…
He does not have internet access, and he is looking for a pair of wire-spoked wheels that are approximately 10″ diameter, with tyres preferably. I had in mind wheelchair or pram/pushchair wheels, but I can’t find anything suitable. Does anyone out there have a couple, or even just one such wheel that could help the project along ? I have a pair of what I think are trailer wheels. They have spoked aluminium rims (Borani style), 12 1/2″ diameter, 2 5/16″ rim width, 2 1/2″ hub width.

Hi Dave, Any chance of a photo so that I can show it to Les ? They might be a bit too big, but if they will fit into his frame and forks he may be happy with them. How much do you want for them ? Thanks for your interest !

Hi Brian, try Googling “jogging stroller, spoked wheels” & then click on Google images & scroll down. There are new 10 inch wire spoked steel rimmed wheels c/w tyres which might be suitably adapted to suit. Worth a look? Regards, Mike
