Can anyone suggest an appropriate tool for removing the retaining nuts from the water jacket head of my short stroke blind head 1928 engine? I have compared them with the same on my 1929 2 speed sports engine and find that they are not exactly the same – not that I have tried to remove those before either. The ones in question are similar to the collar nut on the two speed’s head stock! I believe that there nmay ahave been some modification to reduce the size of the spark plugs ??
Any tips for the removal proceedure would be gratefully accepted. Is there a torque setting for replacement?
