Hello all. I retired in january 2012 aged 70 and i recon i have enjoyed one of the best scotting years ever. Ican honestly say there have been no lows even when trying to keep up with a mates 500 vello the fuel cap flew into the air dont ask how but i caught it in my left hand. Thebike that i use most is a 500 short stroke tourer of 1929 its the scruffyist? scott that i have owned but is going very well. Every ride out this year has been a high( wait untill next year ) The highest never mind 2012 but in my entire motorcycling life it started in 1957 was this year when at a v m c c get together at whistable regata a lady a downs syndrome sufferer asked through her carer could she sit on the Scott ( by far the gungiest machine at the event ) the look on the ladys face will stay with me always.
