Illustrated Parts lists 1927-1936

In the spirit of our Australian friends I have scanned and have available for free issue a complete and original copy of the Scott Spares book covering all models from 1927 to 1936. This book has good illustations and part numbers with full parts descriptions. This could be very useful to anyone new (like me) who would like to describe accurately a part they are looking for. It also has the original price of these items but they are sadly out of date!!

Dear Steve,

I reeceived the CD-ROM with the Spares Catalog and the first 10 years of Yowl today. You have done a great job, the reproduction is very clear.

I don’t know if I am the only club member collecting old issues of Yowl and reading them from cover to cover, but finding a complete set of the first 10 volumes is very difficult. Now I can read them from the pdf-file supplied. I believe that you should continue with the scanning, although I know it’s hard work and takes a lot of time.

Again, thank you very much for a great initiative!

Please note that the file containing the early Yowl issues was only sent out to a few people for evaluation and testing purposes. That is now complete. If you require a copy it is available from Gill Swann via the spares scheme.

If anyone has Scott related material that might be of interest to others and would like it to be made available – as long as it’s not too big – I am happy to scan it and make it available along with the spares listing – there is plenty of space on the disc.
