Our revised meeting date (the third Wednesday of the month) met with the general approval of the ten or so members who attended this months meeting. Others would have attended had they been given more notice.
It is intended therefore, to repeat the exercise for July and the next meeting will again be held on the third Wednesday, 21st July. The meeting place, for those not in the know, is “The Fox and Hounds” Tilburstow Hill, South Godstone, Surrey. This is less than 2 miles south from juction 6 of the M25. We have been invited once again this year, to have a pitch on the “Avenue of Clubs” at the West Kent International. In previous years, our presence has appreciated, popular and successful. I will have 10 free tickets available for those willing to bring / ride a Scott to put on display. Bikes do not have to be in showroom or concours condition, well used or ridden examples (despite what they think up north, we do ride our bikes down south!) are more than welcome. The show part of the event takes place on the 8th August at the Friars, Aylesford, Kent. I already have the promise of at least 4 bikes, another half dozen will be very welcome.
