Hi Roger, A friend (without a computer)has half a dozen L/S rods, plus many other assorted types,Short stroke.2 speed,narrow eye (early type) etc . He will dig them out over the weekend,and I will get back to you ASAP. Regards Geoff.

Hi Roger, Result of Rod Round Up.—- 15 (assorted type) LONG STROKE rods.— 11 (various type) SHORT STROKE rods.– 1 only 2speeder rod ,(narrow big end eye).— 1xVeteran rod (narrow big end eye,rollers run on the rod, (no pressed in ring.) Fitted to cast iron piston,with 3 thick rings, 2 rings above pin,1 bellow ,near the bottom of the piston. Phone to discuss your needs etc. Regards Geoff Tel 01446 743159

Well done Geoff. Will phone Sunday. This evening I want to keep Marina company as we had to have our much loved old Airdale Rex put down today and my first thoughts are to try to comfort Marina, at least in as far as a mere man can.

Hi Roger,

If Geoff’s don’t work out I’ve got perhaps 30-40 LS rods, 20-30 SS rods, and a few others including vintage/vet 1/4″ wide etc. But I’ve said that before, you know how to contact me if you want any. If I had the time and willingness I’ve probably got 10-15 total engines I could build from parts but I could either earn money or build scott engines, not much choice really at my stage of life. I’d much rather just sell parts than refurb them.
