mag chain wanted

i dont seem to find anyone who has 1/2 x 1/8 mag chain apart from cheap italion chain that the dealer said is crap can anybody help

G’day…I had the same problem in finding a good quality mag chain in 1/2 x 1/8 and settled on a pack of IZUMI brand that is prefered by the offroad BMX nutters ! It was $29 compared with around $15 for crap bicycle chain and so far has performed well with no re-adjustment needed. This weekend is the Australian section annual gathering so it will get another serious test ! 🙄

I also have been successfully using BMX bike chain, KHE, made in Germany. I bought it from a bike shop. It has straight links on outer side, for extra strength, and so can only be used one way round. visit http://www.KHEbikes.com

ill settle for the IZUMI single speed chain and keep my fingers crossed from what ive read it seems ok,thanks guys for the help much apreciated.

The chap at Sprockets Unlimited tells me that he has had VERY good reports from Scott owners running IWIS chain. They have stopped making the 1/2″ x 1/8″ mag chain, but apparently Scott owners are running 1/2″ x 3/16″ on the standard 1/8″ sprockets with every success! I’ve bought a length from them but have not tried it yet.
