Local member Martin Thompson has asked me to pass on some information:- “The November 2015 issue of ‘Classic Bike Guide’ has a 7 page article on a 1929 TT-Rep residing in USA. No great revelations, but anyone who collects Scott articles may like to get a copy”

Not a bad article I thought, just one or two glaring errors, like the statement that it has 8″ Enfield brakes front and rear, when of course the front brake is a 7″ Webb item. Incidentally, I’m looking for a pair of brake shoes for that brake. For ease of identification they are fabricated steel items, not alloy castings.
