Magneto/Generator BTH Wiring diagram

Hi,
I’m looking for a wiring diagram for a BTH Magneto/Generator set-up on a 1930’s Sports squirrel.

I have limited electrical knowledge and ive been advised that the magneto has no field coils and uses a permanent magnet. This apparently means that there is no way that the output can be regulated and is therefore fixed and dependent upon engine speed.

So it sounds that the set-up is quite simple?? Can anybody shed any light ( sorry no pun intended) on this for me?

Any help would be appreciated.

Never seen a mag yet that didn’t have a permanent magnet “field”, and why would you want to regulate it?
Are you confusing mags and dynamos?

I meant to say the generator has a permanent magnet 😯 .

This system is also fitted to a Series A comet, because it has a permanent magnet the output is controlled only by a cutout and the light switch giving an output of 24 watts , at the moment I can’t find a wiring diagram for this system ,but it can’t be that difficult to work out
