As nobody else has said it yet, I hope that all you Scott owners and enthusiasts have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. Good Scotting in 2013 !
Brian
Thanks Brian, and could I say a special thank you to all the Committee Members who work so hard to keep the club functioning. I’ve had a couple of hours out on the Scott today in bright sunshine and dry(ish) roads and the old girl behaved impeccably, in fact coming home with a stiff westerly behind, she had no trouble holding 75. Mind you with a rigid backend and sagging forks and the state of the roads in Lincolnshire you can’t hold that for long. A Merry Christmas everyone and a safe and trouble free new year.

I’ll second that! I’ve had a great welcome into the Club this year. The enthusiasm, passion (and time) spent by the Committee members and Regional Organisers make it a great Club. Thanks to all!! I’m looking forward to meeting a few more members and machines next year.
I’m pleased to hear I’m not the only one with a sagging front. Alas, I think the festivities may have my front sagging even more 😛

May I please join in the greetings and good wishes to all Scott riders everywhere. I am sure that 2013 will be even better and adventurous than 2012.
My thanks also go to our chairman and committee members for all their contibutions to our hobby. I will especially thank Eddie Shermer, his wife and daughter – Eddie for his splendid work as the Yowl editor – the whole Shermer family for their generosity and effort in connection with the Abbotsholme gathering. Special greetings also to Roger Moss for his untiring work to make our engines more durable and to improve our understanding of Scott technicalities.
Last, but not least, special thanks to our webmaster, Paul Wilson, who has done so much to improve the SOC website in 2012.
Cheers!
Carl 😀 😀
On behalf of the committee may I thank you for your good wishes and wish all members a Merry Christmas and good New Year.
If you find an odd few minutes when physical activity is out of the question as a result of too much christmas pud, please give a thought to jotting down a few notes of highs and lows with your Scott over the past year. Or perhaps plans that are being made for renovations this year.
Best wishes from all in the Shermer clan
Eddie
