Tony – we have received your enquiry about access to the club site by email but find that your return email address is not accepting our replies. Please email me via lewis.onions@zen.co.uk (if there is a gap in the text here, place your courser over it ) and we will deal with your enquiry. Sorry you are experiencing problems.
I have managed to send an e-mail to Tony, and received a reply. He has a powerful anti-spam system!
Thanks for chasing me. Sorry about the spam blocker (damn virus) but if the word Scott is in the memo I’ll see it. I’ve put a few miles on the bike, working out some issues probably left from it’s restoration in the 90’s (in england if rumor is correct) and quiet enjoying the bike.
As smoking (bikes as well as people) is out of fashion these days, is there a formula to reduce the blue cloud I’m leaving behind myself? Oil type? Last I read in an old manual was the 10-12 drops per min. at idle? Also quite a bit of oil is ending up in the pan under the transmission as well as where ever the bike is parked. Any help here?
Please post a photo of your bike so members can see which model you have, and give the best advice. The engine number would help too.
( click the attachments “browse” button below and select from your files the desired image. Beware the 700KB limits. )
In an e-mail you said it is 1963, and previously restored in the UK.
As part of the Coronavirus relief scheme the limit has been increased to 1000 KB.
