needle jet size

Can anyone tell me the correct needle jet size for a 276 type carb used on my 2-speeder please?

Hi Richard. If it is a 498cc I would try a 190, and if it is a 596cc I would try a 200. If it four-strokes under acceleration come down a jet size.

Hi Brian, thanks, I was really thinking of the needle jet into which the main jet screws and which screws into the jet block – I think they come in three sizes from memory. It’s a 600,

These are the settings I use on my 498 cc 2 Speeder. I too use a 276 Amal body.

Main Jet 170, Slide 6/3, Needle Jet 106. Ignition Timing 5/16″ BTDC Fully advanced.

I think it may be a little on the rich side as it 4 strokes very readily on light load
