Hi all, I see that we have another supplier of new Scott radiators !! Type Brassworks Radiators into Google, and you will find a fascinating website of the company, which is based in California. Hundreds of different vintage/veteran car and truck radiators, and Scott Motorcycle too. The one illustrated has a divided core, as per single downtube frame type, but does not have a honeycomb core. They do however list other rads with honeycomb cores, so that shouldn’t be an issue. No idea of the price ….

The only trouble is that U.S postal/ carriage charges tend to be very pricey

Yes Barrie, I have seen that on otherwise tempting stuff on eBay. It tends to kill a potential purchase stone dead, and quite often the charges cost more than the item that is for sale ! We have got used to the EU easy trading, but from non-EU countries there is also import tax to pay on top of the shipping costs.

🙄 🙄 🙄 I imported a couple of Saxophones from the USA last year. Reckon on 25 percent+ on top of the purchase price.. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Seeing as my Brum is in need of a new radiator due various attempts at keeping it continent through the years, I gave these folks a call. Best as i could discern, a honeycomb radiator is in the area of $2500.00 unplated. A fin style is less but still up there. If i were to get a radiator custom made for a Brum Scott, I think I would do some alteration on the bottom to get a straighter connection between the bottom of the radiator and the outlet on the top of the engine….Until I go this route, I am still looking for a good radiator…
