Hi, There is a big bike show this weekend on the Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire, on the A46 Lincoln road, just a couple of minutes off the A1. All sorts of vintage, classic, and modern bikes, and for full details just Google ‘Newark Bike Bonanza’. I am exhibiting my 1928 ‘works’ Isle-of-Man Senior TT bike, reg UB 1923, and originally WW 4461. It will be in the George Stephenson Hall, exhibit number 33.
Sheelagh Neal was there too, with Ossie’s old blue sprint sidecar outfit, also Ken Thirtle, but he was showing his very rare Reynolds Runabout, a strange beast with a two-stroke Liberty engine and sideways-facing pillion bucket seat, rather than his 1929 Scott. I managed to win Second Prize in the Private Entry Class with 28 TT4.
