Dear all,
We took our Scott to one of these events last year which is about 10 miles North of Nottingham and got a fair bit of interest. It is a small event and there are usually only a few bikes but but its a great day out if you have never been and like steam (the large beam engines will be in steam). I have just been sent an email from the organiser re the event on the 9th and 10th May. The form sent to us (attached) is for cars but I’m sure it will work fine for bikes with some amending 🙂 We are considering going on the Sunday (we get back from holiday on the Sat) so it would be great if others could join us.
Papplewick Pumping Station (http://www.papplewickpumpingstation.org.uk) will be holding its third Classic & Vintage vehicle steaming event on Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th. As usual entrance is free for the vehicle owner and one guest, all we ask in return is that you are able to stay until 4pm. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Jury Dogs on Saturday and The Sons Connection on Sunday.
We currently have 30+ vehicles for Saturday and 45+ for the Sunday.
