Is there a spare petrol tank for sale somewhere, suitable for a 1936 to 1938 Flying Squirrel? The tank on my 1936 DPY is a bit doubtful, and should be completely resoldered. Some of the sheet metal needs replacement too. If I can obtain a restorable spare tank, I can restore that or have it restored and painted professionally without having to dismantle the doubtful tank yet, and still use the bike while the other tank is restored.
