1927 Scott Flying Squirrel
FZ 500cc
Piston diameter 69.27 to suit +0.050″ rebore
Barrel should be 69.52
Piston Ring thickness 1.66mm,
Piston Ring Radial width 2.82.
barrel bore is +0.050″

Anybody got any suitable piston rings please as I have just broken one when dismantling the barrel.

I might be able to help you here. We just finished a 500 s/s and used 500 unit triumph rings which are 69mm standard. They were perfect and just needed modifying at the ends. Remember four strokes don’t have ring stops…
We might even have a couple left.
