I have a pair of new pistons that have had 3/32″ removed from the skirt.
What effect would this have on engine running/performance when using un-modified barrels?

You will not notice much difference. A little less torque at low revs and a little less breathless at medium revs. More apparent on a 500 than a 600
Use them. Roger
