Hi guys!
Having recently completed my 2 racing Scotts I approached Gerry Daine of the VMCC Racing Section with a proposal that as many remaining, and indeed historical, racing Scotts as possible could be assembled at Cadwell Park for the VMCC 25/26 Sept weekend to put on a show in the paddock and , if possible, do a demonstration lap of the track.
Gerry was most supportive of this proposal and most generously offered to any entrants free passes for the weekend. Although it probably would not be possible to do a parade lap. However, this is an amazing and generous offer from the VMCC to provide a platform to display historical Scotts. As most of you are aware the Waye/Williams Scott is still around as is the 1914 TT bikes and the late John Underhills machine. Which, together with the surviving TT bikes would make a most worthwhile sight for the racers and public at Cadwell. Could I therefore encourage any prospective applicants and/or owners to get in touch with me via my Private Message system and we can see what we can organise. I understand that both Rogers Moss’s bike and my “Mr Bones” will be racing on both days..
