The last VMCC race meeting of 2005, was unfortunately on the same weekend as the “Scott Gathering”, so I hope you will understand that our non attendance was not for lack of interest.
Our Scott had five starts and five wins.
The best result was where the grid was made up of two classes.
Vintage unlimited and 500cc up to 1962.
In this later class were 1962 500cc Manx Nortons.
The Scott won.
Our rider Paul Dobbs won the 2005 “Champion of Champions” Championship. This was well deserved as he is exceptionally talented.
Our Scott will wear the Number One plate next season.
The very hard use the bike gets in racing helps us to fully test our ideas for improvements.
