I am searching for a Scott Klaxxon horn for my 1936 DPY Flying Squirrel. These are rare birds, and I am willing to pay generously for a usable specimen.
I may use a Lucas Altette as an alternative – I have one which I have worked on all day today – painting, adjusting etc. I just found out that the terminals are short-circuited to ground somewhere, so I need to start again from scratch. In spite of adjustments it only sounded like a mouse with pneumonia anyway, so maybe I shall let it join my heap of spares. If you have an extra 6-volt Altette in good working order, and would consider parting with it, I would like to buy it. You name the price!
