Can anyone shed any light on the type of Sturmey Archer gear box used on the Scott Lightweight? Was it a box made specifically for the Scott or was it (as I had assumed ) a box which had been used for other types of bike? I am investigating a lightweight which I has been discovered in a (barn) greenhouse locally which apears to be complete apart from the gear box. None of the SA boxes I have compared appear to match those shown in the Book of The Scott. Any comments appreciated.
