The Lucas magdyno on the Scott runs at engine speed and therefore the dynamo gearing is different from usual. The ratio given in Lucas literature is 50 teeth on the magneto to 40 on the dynamo. I have two magnetos, both of which have 51 teeth on the magneto and therefore a 40 tooth dynamo gear does not fit. Is 39 teeth correct and does anyone have one?
