Having been watching the Scott market recently and particularly bikes via physical and online auctions, it seems to be that Scott prices are climbing rapidly. I seems to remember only a year or two that average condition bikes post war were in the 2 grand bracket, but now you will pay over 3 for one needing attention, and 4 grand for an MOT ready bike. It seems the pre-war bikes are actualyl better value to me, but I suppose they will pick up too. Even spares have been going for daft prices on ebay. Is the Scott secret out, has anyone else been thinking the prices are climbing fast, or have they always been as such? The most surprising for me was the B’ham 1960’s Scott, surely one of the most aesthetically challenged versions ever made, making over 4 grand on ebay.
Cheers,
Rich
