SCOTT STOLEN !!

Hi all, a post-war 1948 to 1950 (?)
Scott Flying Squirrel has been stolen in Norfolk. From the photo it looks standard except for a dual seat. The reg is JYO 655. Please keep an eye open for it. If I find out frame, engine, and gearbox numbers I will pass the information on. Perhaps Ian Parsons has that info if the bike is on the register ?

Not on the Machine Register. According to the DVLA it is not taxed and is an Aug 1948 bike.

A good reason for owners to inform the Machine Register of their Scotts, even if they are not Club members, is so that details are recorded of Frame and Engine numbers.

Out of quick interest (and even as a newb, I’m sure I should already know this!) – but how do I go about entering details of my Squirrel on the Machine Register?

Once a year, when you renew your membership, there is a section on the form for entering details of your machine/s. But in the meantime just drop a line to Registrar Ian Parsons, detailing registration number, engine number, frame number, gearbox number, and any special features of the bike.
