Scotts conquering Cantabria

Hello,

Last weekend I went to Cantabria and I participated in an event to run the nine valleys and mountains from this region of the north coast of Spain.

This event is organised by the Classical BMW Club of Cantabria but it was three of us Scotters infiltrated!!

After running for about 250 miles on Saturday, we celebrated a nice dinner where one of the Scotts received the prize for the oldest bike riding in the event and the three them were pointed out as original participants.

I just wanted to tell about Spaniards taste for Scotts!

On my to do list still there is the Colombres rally. Have you ever done that?

Hello Juan Felix – its good to hear that the Club is so well represented in Spain. Well done !

It would be good if you could write an article for the Yowl – Eddie is always looking for copy. If you would like to you could write in Spanish and email the article to me with copies of the photos. I will arrange the translation. My details are in the front of the Yowl.

Erik, yes of course, I am an addict to Colombres. I will explain that at Colombres there are a compilation of activities: On Thursday and Friday there is a route riding in Cantabria and Asturias. On Saturday there is a short route plus a jumble plus an evening race called “hill climbing”. On Sunday there is another short route plus bike jumble. Last year I participated in the hill climbing with my Scott TT 1930.
