First off a thank you to Pete Platt for a trip down memory lane with the old Forum threads. Seems a long time ago now trying to get the back issues of Yowl available to everyone.
On a similar theme I have been trying to persuade Paul to add a Silk page to the Club’s website with useful information for their owners. To this end I have done a similar exercise to Bill Jamieson’s Technicalities in listing all the the references to George Silk Jnr and his endeavours that have been in Yowl over the years and scanned them all. Also I have scanned two versions of Silk Owners Handbooks with the assistance of John Hobley and Denzil Johnstone who have kindly loaned me copies.
If there are any Silk owners going to Abbotsholme next weekend that would like a copy of this information, plus some other interesting stuff, please let me know and I could put it on CD for them.
