I’m am Austrian SOC Member. My problem is “how to find oute the correct name for spare parts”. I got an Excel list which spares are on stock, but it is very difficult to find out the spare parts name. Not for such
parts like the pistons, but for the “Kickstart Ratchet Pawl”. So the pictures on the spares scheme are very helpful to me. But not all of the parts hold by the spares scheme are in the online store.
That’s why I think it would be a great idea to make pictures and update
the spares scheme.
Is this bad Idea?
Do other members have the same problem?
You don’t have to live outside the UK to not know what something is called I can tell you!
Just because I call it a “thrupple nut”, (and I have my faults but being wrong isn’t one of ’em), it does not mean the next bloke or indeed the manufacturer call it by that name too so I think pictures are an excellent idea.
The execution of the task might be quite another matter however. . .
Erik is quite correct when he says the intention is there. My mother used to tell me that the road to hell was paved with good intentions! Please let me know how you can help.
