I have (evidently) a leak between the oil and petrol tanks on my 1930 TT Rep.
Three soldering specialists have refused to touch it, as they say that the whole lot may come apart if they apply heat to remove the oil tank and they are worried that it will never go back together again.
I don’t want to use a sealer (I don’t know how bad the walls of the oil tank are anyway), so the oil tank needs to come out for a proper repair.
Can anyone recommend a traditional soldering specialist, who should be able to undertake this work.
