Alan Templeton, Coventry, who is now painting my Scott 1912 tank has problems with the horisontal silver bands. As you may know, the tank has a hollow tunnel from bottom to top where the seat downframe goes through. The seat downframe is 120 degrees from horisontal (forwards). The silver bands should therefore also be ca. 120 degrees in relation to the seat downtube.
I have given Alan photos (taken from Yowl) of Stan Greenway’s 1912(?) Scott which was beautifully painted. He now wonders whether it could be possible for him too see Stan’s bike and take some measures. Does anyone know where to find Stan Greenway and/or his bike? Contact number and address would be appreciated.
